Ryan Yan is the Director of the Tax Law Research Committee of the Shanghai Bar Association, Vice President of the Fiscal and Tax Law Research Association of the Shanghai Law Society, Deputy Director of the Tax Law Professional Committee of the China Bar Association, Director of the Chinese Taxation Society, and a Council Member of the Fiscal and Tax Law Society of the China Law Society. Additionally, he is a leading expert in the Tax Risk Prevention course at the National Accounting Institute and a supervising professor for master’s students at Peking University, Fudan University, and Shanghai University of Finance and Economics.


Ryan has provided legal advisory services to a wide range of clients, including government agencies such as the Shanghai Huangpu District Tax Bureau and the Shanghai Fourth Taxation Inspection Bureau, as well as large enterprises like COMAC (China Commercial Aircraft Corporation), China Resources Land, and Guotai Junan Securities. Ryan is known for his expertise in handling intricate fiscal and tax cases in the investment field. He has built a strong reputation in the industry for providing "zero-risk" tax and fiscal management solutions and creating value-added plans that achieve an excellent combination of fiscal, tax, and legal strategies in areas like financial management, tax planning, investment and financing, and restructuring.


Ryan has been recognized with multiple honors, including the "Advanced Individual in Legal Aid" at the municipal level, "Advanced Individual in the Judicial Administrative System," "Outstanding Mentor and Friend to the Youth," " Outstanding Contributor to the Fourth Five-Year Plan for Legal Education and Promotion," First Inaugural "Top Ten Outstanding Young Lawyers of the New District," and "Outstanding Young Lawyer of Shanghai."
