Invited by CEIBS, Mr.Yan, the directing partner of co-effort law firm, went to the teaching center of CEIBS to give a lecture on risk controlling in tax planning. 


Mr. Yan stated in his lecture that, the new implemented Tax Collecting and Levying Law provides, the tax-levying right of authorities priors to the mortgage on real estates. For this reason, when providing or accepting mortgage on real estates, companies should first enquire the tax status of the debtor and then obtain written proofs from the tax authority in order to ensure their security in the loan contract.


An alumnus from investing company said, “Although I have learned tax law before, the lecture given by Mr. Yan shown me a totally different picture of tax law issues toady.”
